Age Concern Croydon is now Age UK Croydon
Age Concern Croydon is changing its name to become Age UK Croydon. We will continue to provide support and services for people living in Croydon, including information & advice, advocacy and home services. Age UK Croydon will work in partnership with the national charity to ensure that local people have direct access to high quality information and advice, services and products tailored specifically to their needs and carrying the Age UK name. Older voters could decide the election
The General Election has now been officially announced for the 6th of May, and the outcome could be decided by older voters, according to Age UK (the new charity combining Age Concern England and Help the Aged). See the Age UK website for more details.

The end of the old-style Freedom Pass
The old-style Freedom Passes ceased to be valid at the end of March. If you still haven't renewed your Freedom Pass, the old one will still be accepted on buses and trains for a month or so (you'll have to show it to the driver) but you should be applying for a new-style pass as soon as possible.
